Java Simulation CoordinatorA high performance simulation coordinator.
AboutThis software was developed as part of the Fast MOST development project. The goal of the Fast MOST project was to improve upon the original MOST experiment by significantly speeding up the network communication time of the experiment and expand the number of sites and hardware involved in the test. The Java Simulation Coordinator was a product of this project and it replaced the original Simulation Coordinator used in the original MOST experiment. The Simulation Coordinator plays the central role in a distributed experiment. It sends out all the control signals, using NTCP, to the experimental sites and controls the master computation. The Java Simulation Coordinator provided all these functions and integrated the master simulation into this software. This provided a significant increase in performance when compared to the original MOST experiment. News
